Vendor Surveillance Staff Inspector

We have an opening for a full time Vendor Surveillance Staff Inspector located in Texas! The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in vendor surveillance, PT, MT, and VT experience required. This is a full time role that includes benefits, 401K, and PTO! The main duties include:

• Perform and review internal and external inspections to determine if items under inspection meet the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or regulations.
• Audit inspections to ensure compliance with vendor processes and products.
• Oversee inspection of mechanical equipment, piping, structure and welding activities conducted at shops and construction sites.
• Properly interpret regulations, codes, and industry standards, and convey those requirements to vendors.
• Stay abreast of changes in regulatory standards and updating inspection protocols accordingly
• Identify potential risks associated with vendor products and processes.
• Implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have +5 years in vendor surveillance. 
• NDE PT, MT, and VT experience hours required. 
• Film interpretation a plus. 

• CWI preferred.
• API 510 and 570 a plus.
