Position Overview

The purpose of the Operations Supervisor is to drive area sales growth, and profit plans to budget for their service lines or location, through successful leadership, organizational plans, client service, and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies in both a safe working environment and in compliance with company / client quality standards, policies, procedures, and expectations.  This position is located in our Bakersfield, CA faci

 

The main duties include:

  • Schedule and manage daily work requirements and crews to make sure all client requests are responded to timely and with the correct skillset and equipment; follow up to ensure accurate and timely client reporting.
  • Provide client quotes as requested adhering to defined pricing models or rates sheets and ensuring profitability for every job (target of 30% GM).
  • Manage staffing utilization weekly to ensure utilization percentage is in line with company targets ensure correct staffing level and profitability expectations.
  • Determine operational requirements including resources, training, equipment, and consumables needed; define and establish operational priorities including staff development and training; working together with the Operations Manager.

The pay range for this position is $50 to $55 per hour. Pay range for this job level is a general guideline only for States that enforces pay transparency and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, certifications, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Education and Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a lead field service role.
  • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas service or civil testing industry, specifically the non-destructive testing industry.
  • A proven track record of strong performance in driving quality and safety in operational delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Certificates and Licenses Required

  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
