Position Overview

We have a new opening for a Turnaround Planner! This is a full time position with PTO and benefits! Come join our growing team to advance your career with plenty of growth opportunities. 

 

The main duties include:

  • Perform job walks to identify the work scope to be performed including but not limited to NDT/API methods.
  • Review drawings, plans, and other client specifications to collaborate on the full works scope together with the TA Manager and the client.
  • Review schedule, monitor spend against budget and propose updates to the project plan and schedules if needed with the TA Manager and the client.
  • Meets with client, superintendents, and TA Manager to prepare baseline schedules and documents.
  • Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and any subcontracted work; track cost actuals to budget and escalate differences.
  • Reviews schedule with team members and TA Manager to ensure full understanding, progress is per the timelines.
  • Participates in turnaround planning and progress meetings with the client and TA Manager.
  • Compiles lessons learned that can be applied for continuous improvements in turnarounds.

Pay range for this job level is $45 - $70 per hour and is a general guideline only for States that enforces pay transparency and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, certifications, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. This requisition is anticipated to close on December 31, 2025.

Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of planning turnarounds.
  • Experience with client refinery and chemical plan inspection programs.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Certificates and Licenses Required

  • API 510/570 required.
  • TWIC Card (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test.
  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
